martha ann: I'm a Midwestern girl, born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2008, my husband dragged me - kicking and screaming - to Huntsville, Alabama. A decade later, I am proud to call Huntsville home. I love its brains and tradition. I love the scientists and engineers, building the future everyday with their algorithms and theories. I love military camouflage, "Yes Ma’am," and college football, though I can't get my head around grits. Beneath The Rocket celebrates the people that make Huntsville happen - their big hearts, giant dreams, and courageous accomplishments.
